When a cure is no longer effective for your terminally-ill loved one, A.A Sheena Care, LLC will come to you wherever your loved one wants to receive care and supervision. We give your loved one the support he or she needs. With community hospices, a team of qualified and skilled healthcare professionals will take care of your loved one as long as he or she is qualified for hospice care services.

Role of Family Caregivers

As a family caregiver, you are responsible for managing the daily self-care needs of your loved one, such as personal hygiene, cooking meals, giving medications, and providing emotional and social support.

  • Make home visits as needed by the patient. Hospice care is available 24/7 to answer any of your questions.
  • Hospice professionals offer guidance and support to you and your loved one. Hospice care can be delivered in a residential home, group home, assisted living facility, and nursing home.
  • Healthcare professionals help manage your loved one’s pain and symptoms through medications and equipment that the hospice team supplies.
  • A certified nursing assistant assists with the personal care needs of your loved one.
  • A chaplain prays and talks with your loved one and the whole family.
  • A social worker assists you and your loved one in gaining access to community resources.
  • A grief counselor offers support in dealing with the challenges surrounding a serious illness.
  • A trained volunteer assists with errands and keeps track of medical or social appointments.
